The Chairman of Meyana Bioenergy Limited, Mr Mer Best and his team on Wednesday, 22nd June 2022 paid a courtesy visit to the Emir of Wase, His Royal Highness Alh (Dr.) Muhammadu Sambo Haruna at his private residence in Jos.
According to the Chairman, the visit was to introduce Meyana Bioenergy Limited to the Emir and to seek the Emir’s support and blessing for their upcoming project in Wase local government area which is aimed at strengthening peaceful socio-economic exchanges between the farmer-herder communities through renewable energy technology and added agricultural value chain.
His royal highness assured the team of his commitment and support on behalf of his people towards Meyana Bioenergy Limited as regards the proposed project at Wase. He commended the Meyana team for their novel technology and commitment to enhancing the potential of Africa starting with the energy challenge in Wase.
He also called on and entreated Meyana Bioenergy to do everything possible to support the livelihoods of farmer and herder communities in Wase and the economic development initiatives of the Plateau State government bearing in mind that Wase is well known for agriculture.
