2nd Position: Biomass and Agricultural Wastes Gasification Micro-grids for Off-grid Farming Communities in Ghana (EcoPower Project) by Prince Essel (Ghana).

The MeyanaWattsPro™ is a simple, smart and efficient bio generator design that conveniently and sustainably allows customers access to electricity in addition to cooking gas and fertilizer, all starting with wastes generated on-site. The whole design is a containerized plug in system where sorted organic waste is loaded through an inlet and the efficient process controller handles the rest. Through the process of wet anaerobic digestion, the waste is then converted into biogas, then purified into methane gas and used to power a gas engine that generates beyond electricity, other valuable products that create wealth.
